In the ‘70s Belfast, Gerry is a young scoundrel who carries out petty crime, gaining hostility from the local IRA leader. That’s why his father, a quiet and spiritless man, sends him to London for a period of time. But as a result of a series of unfortunate events —and the pressing need of the police to find a culprit— he will end up being accused of committing an attack of which he is completely innocent.
