A member of parliament from the opposition is murdered in a country supposed to be democratic whose government uses the police and the army to repress adversaries. A young magistrate, fully aware of the political background of crime and an ambitious journalist who uses unorthodox methods to get information try to find out who are the authors, but also those who have inspired the attack.
