Within the Improvement Plan of this museum, the Regulations for public use and recommendations for visitors to the Valencia Museum of the Enlightenment and Modernity (MuVIM) have been approved, under article 49 of Law 7/1985 RBRL and by Presidential Decree number 08269, dated 28/10/2011, whose content is as follows:
REGULATIONS
- Admission to the facilities with large bags is not permitted. Umbrellas, plastic bags, suitcases, backpacks, helmets, etc., will be left in the centre's cloakroom.
- Admission to the centre with balls, skates, tricycles, bicycles, shopping carts or other similar objects is not permitted.
- Admission to the centre with animals is not permitted, except guide dogs.
- Drinks and food are not permitted, except in the museum cafeteria.
- Touching the objects in the exhibitions or leaning on the cabinets or walls is not permitted.
- Smoking is not permitted on the museum premises, except in the outdoor area and on the terrace adjacent to the cafeteria.
- Filming and flash photography or the use of tripods must be authorised in advance.
Under Article 23 of Law 4/2003 of the Regional Government of Valencia, the museum reserves the right to refuse admission.
Complaint and suggestion forms are available to users.
Visitors are requested to follow the instructions of museum staff for the proper use of the facilities in application of these regulations at all times.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended that minors visiting the museum be supervised at all times, ensuring that they behave appropriately.
Visitors are kindly requested to cooperate with the necessary maintenance and cleaning of the museum by making appropriate use of its facilities; maintaining an appropriate tone of voice for conversation and setting mobile phones to silent during their visit.
