On the occasion of the La dona mira, mira la dona awards ceremony, the Valencian Corporation of Mass Media (CVMC) and À Punt Mèdia (the Valencian TV) convene a Conference Day to discuss about the status of women in audiovisual creation, production and representation. With this conference the CVMC expects to revitalise this Valencian public space of communication as a place for citizen participation aimed at progressing at gender equality.

10:00 h – Obrim espais. (We open spaces). Inauguration of the ceremony by Enrique Soriano, president of the CVMC and Empar Marco, general director of À Punt Mèdia.
10:15 h – Paraula de dona. (Word of woman). Debate with the filmmaker Cecilia Bartolomé, conducted by Begoña Siles, professor of Narrative Analysis in the CEU-Cardenal Herrera University. Introduced by Mar Iglesias, journalist and vice president of the CVMC Governing Council.
11:30 h – Coffee break
12-13.30 h – Entre totes. (All women together). Round table moderated by Mentxu Segura, representative of CIMA (Associació de dones cineastes i de mitjans audiovisuals- Association of woman filmmakers and audiovisual media)
