La Vila is the third album by Daniel Lumbreras, produced by Paul Vallvé and edited during the spring of 2017. A record work awarded by the music review MondoSonoro as the best album edited in Catalonia this same year and defined as an unprecedented album which is innovative and reveals a really unusual magic. A work that has allowed Daniel to go on tour around Spain and to start performing in European festivals.

Daniel Lumbreras’ music is difficult to classify, it has hints of African, Celtic and Brazilian music and even of Sufi canticles and Raï music. But the background music continues to be of Western pop folk style but very lyrical and full of nuances. 

Furthermore he sings with an added distinctive feature: he improvises phonemes, using his voice as any other instrument and focusing all the expressiveness in the musicality of the sound. It is here where the universality of his proposal and his vocation to cross borders lies in. He does not sing in any language but everybody can understand him.
