The MuVIM's Culture Award 2019 will be given to the village of Titaguas due to the existent partnership between the two institutions based on the distinguished figure of Simón de Rojas Clemente, native to Titaguas, who was a key figure of the Enlightenment and the beginnings of political liberalism in the region of Valencia and also based on the museum project which has declared «La Casa de las Luces» or «Casa del Tío Florencio» in Titaguas as a Centre of Cultural Diffusion associated to the MuVIM. The great historical and ethnological value of this building from the middle of the XVIII century will help to boost the cultural life of the village as well as to revitalize a quality tourism which will result in the development and welfare of the whole region of La Serranía.
