  • Guerra civil a Lliria
    Guerra civil a Lliria
Documentary depicting the facts and the experiences lived by the Valencian village of Llíria and its inhabitants during one of the hardest times in our history. The narration goes back to the economic, social and political background of the beginning of the 20th century, both at a national and local level, and shows how this unsteady situation led to the harsh armed clash between brothers.

The documentary gathers the testimonies of some neighbours of the village who endured the hardship of the Civil War and combines them with the historical explanations provided by researchers and experts on this topic.

Produced by Sergio Sancho Portolés and Otman El Ablaoui El Jaafari.

The screening will be followed by a discussion and a question time which will count on the participation of Joan Josep Adrià i Montolio, PhD in History, and Sergio Sancho Portolés and Otman El Ablaoui El Jaafari, producers of this documentary.
