Fellini created a cinematic masterpiece with the filmic portrait of the experiences lived by the inhabitants of a small Italian village over years. Presented by Ramón Alfonso, film critic.

In the language of the Emilia-Romanya region “a m'*arcord” means “I remember”. Actually, it is from his own memories  – properly fictionalized –   that Fellini composed an unforgettable filmic painting which portraits the lives of a handful of residents of the city of Borgo, a kind of copy of his native Rimini.

However, and thanks to the ironic – but always deeply human- outlook which features the films of this Italian director, the film does not fall into a meaningless costumbrism. Amarcord was awarded with the Academy Award for the Best International Feature Film in 1974. Now the MuVIM offers an opportunity to enjoy once again this film forum classic on the big screen.
